Calling all Marvel fans: Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N is coming to ExCel London!

 

I’m super excited to share the news of this brand new event with all of you. Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N is coming to ExCel London between November 2018 and March 2019! Any Marvel fans do not want to miss this experience as it sounds absolutely incredible. It has already had a very successful run in New York, Seoul, Paris, Singapore, Beijing, Taipei and Las Vegas, it’s London’s time to shine.

S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is an acronym for Science Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network, where you can step inside the popular films and become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a nutshell, it’s an interactive, multi-room experience featuring activities based around each member of the Avengers, their backstory and their abilities as they train to become an agent. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to being a special agent – so sign me up!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The Thor Observatory – dedicated to Thor Odinson, King of Asgard and son of Odin. Test your worthiness by attempting to lift Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, view Thor’s outfits and study the universe and its current parameters using NASA’s EYE on the exoplanets program.
  • Check out Captain America’s personnel file and explore the cutting-edge science that made Steve Rogers into Captain America.
  • Iron Man Engineering Bay – trainee agents have the chance to not only get up close and personal with Iron Man’s iconic suits of armour but also experience what simulated flight inside the suit would be like.
  • Ever wondered what Bruce Banner’s Lab looks like? Explore the Bio Lab transformation of Dr Banners superior brain as he morphs into The Hulk.

 

As well as all of that, attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some movie props, and buy exclusive merchandise too. As a lifelong film fan and self-confessed nerd, I can’t think of a more thrilling experience than this. The opportunity to immerse myself inside multiple films isn’t exactly something I was going to turn down!
