In the past couple of weeks, I have alienated my film friends with confessions that I haven’t seen films such as The Thing, It Follows and Tremors. It’s understandable really, as they’re all classics and people have really strong thoughts about them.

And if I haven’t given myself enough work already, this inspired me to create a brand new column dedicated to those films I really should have watched years ago, and have sat on my watchlist for far too long.

So, with this in mind, I’m excited to introduce you all to my new column How Haven’t I Seen This?

I had a fairly unoriginal working title of Late to the Party, but was later inspired by my mam’s epic own when I revealed that I hadn’t seen Tremors. I guess that one hit a nerve!

See below, ‘How have you not seen this? I blame myself’. What a great idea for a new title…

So there we go. It’s a question I often ask myself, and others ask of me, so why not put it to good use and actually answer the question right here on my blog.

Please keep in mind that it’s impossible to watch every film ever, and I’m not trying to be a martyr by watching every film in the universe, presumably of stress. This is merely a fun column where I get to visit certain titles!

I don’t intend for this column to be taken 100% seriously, and if you are genuinely nasty to me because I haven’t seen a film then that says more about you than it does about me.

Stay tuned to find out which film I feature first, and if it was worth watching or if it should have stayed on my watchlist until the end of time.
